What's up with that Nic kid?

Well Nic is still a little dare-devil. He has no fear. He LOVES to test me and he is still quite the joker.

He loves to pretend he's asleep, his eyes are half closed, and he has this silly smile on his face. It's funny.

He LOVES to throw things, just because of the noise it makes when it hits the ground (or a human head).

Nic still has the two words (cookie and cracker) and is working on "teeese" which is please (of course). He does use Da-Da a LOT, but depending on what he is talking abt, he changes how he pronounces it.

His favorite game? "What's that?" (he says "deedatt?") and he pokes my eye, I say "Eye". He puts his finger up my nose and says "deedatt?" and I respond, "Nose", and he does the same with hair, head, mouth, ear, hand, belly and foot. In turn, he points to all of them when I ask him "Where is your ______?".

He seems to be tall(er). Still pretty slim.

He ADORES his brother and sister, but I think Dad is still his favorite.
He LOVES his grandma and grandpa; loves to carry their picture around.

He is a always busy and loves books and all kinds of balls (an educated athlete, I love it!). He can throw!!!

He LOVES to blow raspberries on my belly. I can be laying on the couch watching TV and the next thing I know, my shirt is over my head, and I have a wet mouth on my pale, pale belly - and he's blowing away. He will make every farting noise possible for as long as I will let him. It's over and over and over again, he barely comes up for breath. I am highly ticklish... I pee my pants every time (that's another story)...

He loves to talk on his cell phone (the non-activated brick of a thing).

He loves to take his diaper off.

He's going to bed at a decent hour, finally.
He still some how ends up our bed @ 5am every morning until it's time to get up.

He's eating alright (due to a drastic diet change). The older kids had a habit of sharing their crap. I ended that. He loves turkey and ham rolls, and grapes and bananas and apples. And PB&J.

I could go on and on - but I will save that for another post.

Nic will be two in less than two months. I cannot believe it. (I am sure I will be saying that until he is at least 52!!)

Some Recent Pics @ the Zoo

We went to the Zoo forever ago (August 31) with two of my dear friends and their kids. Stacey and I have been friends for eight years, and she has 3 adorable children; AJ, Brook and Charley. Diana, I have known for about 5 years... we met through Stacey, when we all worked at University of Phoenix together. Her beautiful daughter is Lauren.

Here are some pics... =)

Bright and early...6 of the kids.

A red flower.

Nic sleeping @ the end.
Btw... I didn't have the energy to rearrange the pics, they may be out of order.
Okay.
They are out of order.

Well...

Our first day of school wasn't as sentimental and important as Austin's... but, I cried none-the-less. (So proud of my nephew, Austin! He's a BIG!!! boy!)

As a reminder, Alex started the 7th grade (Jr High) and Isabel started the 4th grade. Nic just went to his Auntie B's (Brianne's) house. =)

Alex (who just wasn't thrilled with me taking pics)...

His DC's. For all those "uncool" people out there, DC is a company owned by the famous, professional Skater, Rob Dyrdek (yes, I watch too much Mtv).

Isabel

Her Converse (she has a black pair as well).

My three sweeties!

Nic's Lightening McQueen shoes (which make him run super fast!!)

Isa said "Nope, you don't have to walk me in. Alex can take me."
And off they went. (Alex is jumping, not sitting in this pic. hehe.)

Nic was sooo sad. He didn't want them to leave.

After I dropped Nic off at Auntie B's... Alex and I had an hour to kill.
So I took him to Starbucks. Then we parked in the school parking lot, and watched as all of the other kids were being dropped off. We got to see what they were wearing, how nervous they looked, and all that jazz.

What Alex DOESN'T know, is that after I drove through the drop off area, I went back around and parked in the same spot as before... took out a chocolate donut, called my mom and cried. I cannot believe I have a 7th grader. A handsome one at that. In fact, just this morning - I told him I was going to have to buy him some ugly clothes. I don't want ANY girls trying to get lovey~dovey with him.

So... that was our first day of school. =)

And next, we went to Mexico! Ole! Wanted to share some pics! They are not in order - too much moving stuff around. More than likely, the ones taken first are at the bottom, then I worked my way up. This first picture was taken our last day.

Anyway, thanks for looking. We had a great time. Nic stayed with my parents and had a blast.
School starts in just over a week - so I know the next several weeks are bound to be even busier. I will let you know if anything major happens... and I will be sure to snap a few back to school pics! I told Alex I was going to take him to school, get out of the car and walk him to his 7th grade home-room class. He wasn't pleased.

TTFN.
